Introduction to Geoportal
The ECDC Geoportal is an application aiming to:
- establish a single integrated spatial data infrastructure at ECDC
- strengthen geospatial analysis capacity, improve the understanding of disease and determinant geo-spatial distributions and relationships
- be the single stop shop for GIS-related resources
- allow for mapping diseases and other data of interest at European and World scale.
- allow visual exploratory analysis by combining in a single map view layers from different sources, including ECDC Surveillance Atlas, determinants data, events and threats data.
Currently, Geoportal contains Geocatalogue, EMMa Map Maker and Networks.
Geocatalogue serves as the Home page of Geoportal application.
